Tibaneli vineyard lies on the right bank of the Alazani river at the village of Tibaani, Signagi District of Kakheti province, East Georgia, at an altitude of 224 to 255 metres above sea level, on the lower end of the north-east slope of the east fringe of the Tsiv-Gombori mountain range. The vineyard occupies 20 hectares.

The vines have been planted on the carbonate-containing black earth type of soil which has developed on alluvial and colluvial deposits.
